Salisbury, Md. – The Coastal Association of REALTORS® (CAR) will host a free Fair Housing Workshop conducted by the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce.
The workshop is open to all REALTORS®, brokers, housing providers, landlords, property managers, and all other interested persons. The topics covered during the workshop include a history of fair housing laws, discrimination in sales, discrimination in rentals, sexual harassment by housing providers, hate crimes in housing, and protections that exist for all Marylanders. There will also be a Q&A session with the commission’s legal department.
The workshop is sponsored by CAR and by the Maryland Association of REALTORS®.
